NTREIS MetroTex Closed until April 30, 2020
To protect the health and safety of MetroTex members, staff and visitors to our Dallas facility and five satellite offices during the Covid-19 outbreak, MetroTex has made the difficult decision to close our offices and cancel all upcoming courses and events from now until April 30. This includes:
– in-person new member orientation
– continuing education classes
– on-site MetroTex store
– designation courses
– area MLS meetings
– workshop events
– TREPAC events
MetroTex will continue to monitor the situation through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Board of Directors will also consider advice from Dallas County and surrounding municipalities before deciding to open in-person courses and our facilities.
In light of the Governor’s address this afternoon, MetroTex joins in to support social distancing protocols, and putting in place new procedures to limit the potential spread of the virus. The situation will be evaluated again on or before April 30. Committee meetings will remain on the calendar as scheduled, but will be accessed only by conference call. No in-person meetings of our committees, work groups or the Board of Directors will be held.
